Events are and will continue to be the best communication tool for companies.

Over the past few years, many technological advances have been incorporated into our lives, changing even everyday aspects like checking the time: if before you looked at your watch, now you can do it on your smartphone or smartwatch, while also checking your social media notifications, heart rate, or steps walked.

These advances also affect the business world and the way we communicate and negotiate. So why not take advantage of the benefits they offer? Technology provides many advantages, making the business world increasingly competitive and well-prepared.

A savings of up to 50% can be achieved, as all types of travel, resource expenditures, and meal costs are avoided.

Previously, a large portion of the annual budget had to be spent promoting at trade shows and events in various locations. Now, you can simply use a computer at your workstation or home, go online, set up a virtual booth, customize it, and establish personal and professional relationships with industry entrepreneurs and clients without leaving your desk. You can also present a product, catalog, or simply make contacts within your industry.

All this can be done by entering virtual halls and sharing conversations and virtual business cards — what we now know as VR business.

As we can see, virtual events allow us to perform the same functions as in-person events, but… for much less! Savings of up to 50% are possible because travel, resource expenditures, and meal costs are eliminated. Additionally, holding a virtual event sets you apart from the rest, providing not only economic and social advantages but also competitive ones — all in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.

Until just a few years ago, the metaverse was something completely unknown to most people. Yet, a few curious pioneers were already exploring these virtual worlds. On platforms where digital land is limited, some users purchased virtual plots for as little as €20 — and today, they can earn up to €1,500 from renting out those same spaces. Major global companies from every sector — such as Samsung, Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, BMW, and Coca-Cola — are competing to establish their presence in the metaverse, which appears to be the clear direction the future is heading. Real estate agencies that traditionally sold physical properties around the world are now also offering virtual land sales and even exact replicas of real-world homes inside the metaverse. One notable example is Nourmand & Associates, a real estate firm currently selling a mansion in Beverly Hills for $9.5 million, while offering the possibility to build a virtual replica of the same property in a well-known metaverse for an additional $100,000. According to expert Sergio G., “The global market for virtual and augmented reality was valued at $26.7 billion in 2018; it is likely to close this year at $54 billion, and projections estimate it could reach $800 billion by mid-decade.” From the very beginning, Walcon has embraced this vision, collaborating with leading metaverse platforms, and designing, managing, and constructing projects across any virtual world.
