Recently, Facebook introduced its new venture: Facebook Horizon. This is a revolution in the social media landscape, as this platform will allow us to enter a virtual world where socializing and fun reach a whole new dimension.

In this virtual world created by Facebook, each of us can enter with a customizable avatar and interact with friends, as well as meet new people.



The presentation of this new product makes us realize that virtual reality will increasingly play a major role, reaching aspects of our lives that we haven’t experienced before. It is still largely unexplored for most people, but many companies are already developing and investing in this type of technology.

Another innovation we have seen is the advancement in VR technology and headsets. Currently, if we put on VR glasses, we can interact with the virtual world but not with the real one. However, thanks to new models like Oculus Quest, headsets can now recognize elements such as our hands without the need for special gloves or additional equipment.

Virtual reality will increasingly take a central role, impacting aspects of our lives that were previously unknown.

In other words, we are facing a scenario that strongly bets on VR technology and its real applications, which by 2020 will allow us to both establish social relationships in a virtual world and attend events and trade shows without leaving home.
