Words such as "metaverse" or "web3" have arrived in a very short time, helped also by the exceptional situation of Covid-19, and it seems that they are going to provoke a revolution in which the Internet will go from two dimensions to three. A clear example of this is the bets of large companies such as Samsung, which already have their place in this three-dimensional Internet and are committed to digitalisation.

This investment by companies such as Telefónica is increasing due to the change in trend, claiming that data traffic has increased tenfold in recent years, going from a voice service to the arrival of the metaverse or artificial intelligence.

This is why all those companies that are committed to these new technologies will be able to carve out a niche in the market, which will undoubtedly give them a comparative advantage.
