With the start of the new normal, it’s time to explore new ways of working that keep us aligned with the trends shaping the coming years.

The COVID-19 crisis has marked a before and after in our society. Over the past few years, digitalization has been a slow process for most companies—something we’ve postponed for as long as possible. Suddenly, we found ourselves in a state of emergency where most businesses had to rely on remote work without being properly prepared.

At Walcon, you’ll find consulting and planning services to help you start digitalizing your company from scratch. We offer one of the latest innovations in digital marketing for businesses: VR and 3D environments, which allow you to establish commercial and professional relationships through a virtual setting.

What makes Walcon’s services unique is their ability to foster human connection and create a close, engaging atmosphere—thanks in part to the use of personalized avatars.

Walcon’s main goal is to humanize technology, improving interactions between companies and clients as well as among employees.
According to feedback from our clients, the key advantages of these virtual events include:

  • Cost and time savings,

  • Elimination of geographical and time barriers, and

  • Reduction of environmental impact compared to traditional events.

Walcon offers a wide range of possibilities for your business or association. For example: creating sector-specific virtual fairs to bring together visitors and exhibitors, conferences and congresses where companies can make presentations and interact with attendees, and more.

In addition, more intimate events can be created, such as small virtual rooms for training sessions or networking meetings. In these spaces, communication is 100% direct and personal.
For training sessions, trainers and participants are in constant contact via chat, where the company can share all the necessary materials.
In networking rooms, professionals interact through personalized avatars, enabling idea exchange and negotiations in a much more human and engaging way.

Until just a few years ago, the metaverse was something completely unknown to most people. Yet, a few curious pioneers were already exploring these virtual worlds. On platforms where digital land is limited, some users purchased virtual plots for as little as €20 — and today, they can earn up to €1,500 from renting out those same spaces. Major global companies from every sector — such as Samsung, Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, BMW, and Coca-Cola — are competing to establish their presence in the metaverse, which appears to be the clear direction the future is heading. Real estate agencies that traditionally sold physical properties around the world are now also offering virtual land sales and even exact replicas of real-world homes inside the metaverse. One notable example is Nourmand & Associates, a real estate firm currently selling a mansion in Beverly Hills for $9.5 million, while offering the possibility to build a virtual replica of the same property in a well-known metaverse for an additional $100,000. According to expert Sergio G., “The global market for virtual and augmented reality was valued at $26.7 billion in 2018; it is likely to close this year at $54 billion, and projections estimate it could reach $800 billion by mid-decade.” From the very beginning, Walcon has embraced this vision, collaborating with leading metaverse platforms, and designing, managing, and constructing projects across any virtual world.
