Basic Guide for Your Virtual Event
First of all, you should know that to attend a virtual event you need three things:
- A computer
- Internet access
- Lots of enthusiasm to learn and experience something truly innovative.
By doing this, you’ll be helping the organizing company reduce travel and logistical costs, eliminating any geographical barriers. And most importantly, you’ll contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions since the event is completely virtual. Now then, let’s get started!
First, after registering for the event, you will receive an invitation to access the platform where it will take place. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll need to create an avatar that will represent you during the event and with which you’ll be able to interact with all the other attendees.
To help you learn how to use the platform, Walcon has developed a variety of explanatory guides that teach you how to move around the virtual world, talk with other participants, and make adjustments such as configuring your audio and microphone.
Also, if you are a speaker at the event, don’t worry about anything — we will provide complete training to explain everything you need to do on the day of your presentation so that everything goes perfectly.
And what if I have a problem on the day of the event and don’t know how to solve it? Don’t worry about that either! For every event, we always have a fantastic support team available to help any attendee who may have issues or doesn’t know how to perform a specific action.
Finally, all that’s left to do is relax and enjoy your virtual event, as it’s a unique experience that will allow you to learn new things in an innovative way, meet people from all over the world, and expand your network of professional contacts.
See you at your event!
