16th International Ornithological Tourism Fair (FIO)

Overview

The FIO serves as a meeting point for professionals and enthusiasts of nature and birdwatching, consolidating its position as a key reference in the sector and promoting Extremadura on the European nature tourism map.

In 2021, due to pandemic restrictions, FIO trusted Walcon to host the 16th edition virtually. Organized by the Junta de Extremadura, it featured professional and public activities, including business meetings, panels, expert conferences, observation routes, workshops, and family-friendly educational and recreational activities.
