More than 700 specialists from all over Spain gathered on our campus to celebrate the virtual congress 'The new Vocational Training in the Valencian Community: discover the future', where some topics such as the modernisation of this learning stage and the future education law were discussed.
Over two consecutive days, state and regional education representatives and those of various economic sectors came together to pursue a joint objective: showing how important it is to modernise vocational training in the Valencian Community and the rest of Spain so that it can become the engine of a new economic and social growth model.
The congress opening conference was given by the Regional Minister of Education, Culture and Sport, Vicent Marzà, and the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Isabel Celaá. The latter showed gratitude on her social networks for having being invited to open the congress and assured that the present is "a decisive moment" in the transformation process of Vocational Training in Spain.
Guests were able to attend several presentations and round tables organised to discuss current issues on methodological innovations, digitalisation and new areas of expertise, among other topics.
In addition, a guided tour around our ExpoRoom was carried out and users could visit all the panels that had been prepared on Vocational Training and Autonomous Communities.
We are proud to say that we achieved really successful participation figures.
