More than 700 specialists from all over Spain gathered on our campus to celebrate the virtual congress 'The new Vocational Training in the Valencian Community: discover the future', where some topics such as the modernisation of this educational stage and the future law were discussed.
For two consecutive days, representatives of various economic sectors and state and regional education representatives met with the general objective of showing the relevance of the modernisation of Vocational Training in the Valencian Community and the rest of Spain, to be the engine of a new model for economic and social growth.
The inaugural conference that opened the congress was given by the Regional Minister of Education, Culture and Sport, Vicent Marzà, and the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Isabel Celaá, who thanked the invitation to inaugurate the congress on social networks and assured that the present is "a decisive moment" in the transformation process of Vocational Training in Spain.
Attendees were able to attend various presentations and round tables that were organised to discuss current issues on methodological innovations, digitisation and new skills, among other topics.
In addition, there was a guided tour of our ExpoRoom where users visited all the panels that were prepared on Vocational Training and the Autonomous Communities.
We are proud to say that we achieved really successful participation figures.
